About Mambo Rinmin

Mambo Rinmin (Roseanne O’Connor), graduated from Rosemont College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Art History.  She continued her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. 

Over 18 years ago, Mambo Rinmin was invited to a Voodoo ceremony at Gro Mambo Angélá Noványón Idizol’s sanctuary in North Philadelphia.  During the service, she met the Loa Papa Ogu in possession.  The Loa gave Mambo Rinmin a very personal message containing very private information.  The Loa then proceed to give her guidance to resolve the problem.  Although the religion was very foreign, she felt at home and realized that this religion would nurture her, teaching her the path that she was destined to follow. 

Mambo Rinmin La Via Bel became initiated as Mambo (Priestess) on September 18, 1994.  She trained under Gro Mambo Angélá Noványón Idizol, studying Divination, Ethnobotany, Counseling and Conduct of Religious Ceremonies and Rituals.  Mambo Rinmin traveled to Haiti to study Ethnobotany.   She has studies the symbols and works of the Loa, incorporating the healing practices in her work for her clients.
 
Mambo Rinmin is also a member of the Ogatzulis Au’d Fanm Societi, an ancient secret women’s society.  She  has served on the Board of Directors at LePeristyle Haitian Sanctuary, she has served as the Associate Treasurer and Board Member for the National African Religion Congress/NARC World, a certifying board for African based religions.
